Delrin Rods

Delrin Rods are a homopolymer acetal grade that offers higher mechanical strength, stiffness, hardness and creeps resistance than acetal copolymer. Delrin Rods are commonly used for gear wheels, cams, bearings, and rollers. It is a good electrical insulating and dielectric property of Delrin that makes it a good choice for electrically insulating components.

Chemical Resistance:

• Resistant to Hydrocarbons, alkalis, greases, oils, fuels, ethers, esters, ketones, water up to 100 deg C.
• Not Resistant to halogens, acids, oxidizing agents, nitrogen oxides
